Modern-Baroque Wedding Paperie

Patricia Karam & Frederick McCarthy were married in the early summer of 2009 at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City. In creating their wedding invitations, we drew inspiration from the couples eclectic personal style, and the artful decor of the Gramercy Park Hotel itself.

The result is a stunning combination of baroque and modern sensibilities, featuring fanciful calligraphy foil-stamped in royal blue onto rich, bold colored cards. The invitation is introduced by a monogram we designed of a cherub (one auspiciously hung above the couple's heads on their first date), and tied together with a rich, royal blue velvet band.

In addition to invitations, we also created escort cards, table numbers, menus, and thank you cards which carried the couple’s motif through all their wedding festivities.
